Just 21 Days Before the Badger Midget Series Opener

We've used the familiar #21 of Kurt Mayhew to remind us all that the Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Auto Racing Association season opener at Beaver Dam Raceway is just three weeks away.  Billed as "The Spring Trifecta," this April 20 go, highlights some of the best dirt track racing the Badger State has to offer.  Along with Badger, the IRA 410 Sprint Cars and Dirt King Late Models are scheduled to take to the track.

Located in the southern half of Wisconsin, Beaver Dam Raceway has the biggest banking the Badger Midget Series will see all season.  The track lends itself to three-wide racing with some cars digging a groove out of the bottom, while others bolt toward the wall high in a corner, only to dive down to the middle of the track as they power through the straightaway.

Beaver Dam Raceway is fired up and getting ready for 2024 as they've started working the track in advance of their season opener, "The Frostbuster," that takes place this coming week. This event highlights the six divisions that will run weekly there (see BDR's media outlets for details and classes slated to compete).

We'll share more about the Badger Midget Series and The Spring Trifecta in the days leading up to the race.  For now, just mark your calendar for April 20 and get ready for a new season of AFS Badger Midget Series action.
