Soaking Forecast Forces Event Cancelation of Micro Mania KKM Challenge

Fort Worth, TX. (4/5/24) Predicted weather forecast showing drenching and severe rainstorms from Sunday until Thursday has forced Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway, Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge, and POWRi Officials, to unfortunately cancel the entirety of the Third Annual Lil’ Texas Micro Mania KKM Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV that was original scheduled from April 8-11 without a reschedule plan in effect.

Competitors pre-registered for the Third Annual Lil’ Texas Micro Mania KKM Challenge presented by Start2Finish TV can expect refunds to be processed nearly immediately through MyRacePass.

Next up for the inaugural season of the KKM Challenge Point’s Battle, entrants can find competition at Clyde-Martin Memorial Speedway. Working in connection with Keith Kunz Motorsports and POWRi Racing, ‘The Clyde’ will now host the Second KKM Challenge of 2024 on May 29-June 1, featuring practice on Wednesday, May 29th followed by split-field Qualifying Races on Thursday, May 30th, and Friday, May 31st ultimately culminating in the $10,000-to-win main event on Saturday, June 1st for the POWRi Non-Wing Outlaw Micro League as well as the support divisions of U6SA Wing Micros and POWRi Jr. Sprint classes running a full program each event night.

Entries for the Clyde-Martin Memorial portion of the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge featuring the POWRi Non-Wing Outlaw Micro, U6SA Wing Micro, and POWRi Jr Sprint are each available online at https://www.myracepass.com/series/1572/registrations/8874.

Headlined by the $10,000-to-Win Non-Wing Outlaw Micro main event, classes scheduled to compete include the split-field POWRi Non-Wing Outlaw Micro League, as well as the support classes POWRi Restrictor Wing, and POWRi Junior Sprints for an action-packed trio of nights on March 20-22.

Registration for Non-Wing Outlaw, Restrictor, and Jr Sprint competitors in the Keith Kunz Motorsports Challenge at Plaza Park Raceway powered by Keller Auto Center on March 20-23 remains open and available at https://www.myracepass.com/series/1572/registrations/8872.

Winners of the $10K-to-win finale events at each of the KKM Challenge Races will receive automatic entry into the “Challenge Champions Dash” at the KKM Giveback Classic at Port City Raceway on October 19th, with that winner earning automatic entry into the King of Port pole-shuffle and prized starting position in the Non-Wing Outlaw feature event for the KKM Giveback Classic.

Boasting over a $43K seasonal point fund for competitors, the KKM Challenge Events will see points champions crowned in Non-Wing Outlaw, Restrictor, and Jr Sprints after the final event of the year with a full divisional breakdown found online at http://www.powri.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=904276.
