Port Royal Speedway Prepares for York County Racing Club Night With 410 Sprint Cars, Super Late Models & Australian Pursuit, and Limited Late Models

Port Royal, PA - April 12, 2024 - Port Royal Speedway is gearing up to host excitement this Saturday, April 13th, as it proudly presents York County Racing Club Night.

As a tribute to the loyal supporters of the York County Racing Club, members are offered an exclusive $5 discount on admission. It's the speedway's way of showing appreciation for the dedication and passion of racing enthusiasts in the area.

Fans can expect an action-packed program with an impressive lineup of competing classes. The main attractions include the Weikert Livestock 410 sprint cars, the Selinsgrove Ford super late models competing for a $4,000 prize, and the Zimmerman Truck Repair limited late models.

Adding an extra layer of excitement to the super late model division, spectators will enjoy the Australian Pursuit race, offering an additional $1,000 to the winner in honor of Glenn Stitt.

This is the third running of this event honoring the late Speed Palace scorer, who served the track from 1965-1985 and pencil scored the first Tuscarora 50.

Pit gates will open at 3PM and general admission gates at 4, with racing action kicking off at 6PM.

General admission price is $20, pit passes are $35, students between the age of 13 and 18 are $10, and kids under 12 are free.
