ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints Rolling To Jackson on Saturday

BYRAM, Miss. (April 23, 2024) Rolling into the season's fifth event, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints return to the Jackson Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 27.

Four events complete in 2024 with different winners each night, Jan Howard, who topped the series on April 13 at Baton Rouge, leads the charge into Jackson with a 76-point advantage over 2023 series champion, Brandon Blenden. Third is held by Lane Whittington, with Evan McElhaney and Butch David making up the top five in tour standings.

Two visits to the one-third-mile oval in 2023, wins belonged to Derek Hagar and Koty Adams.

Saturday, April 27, will include Rogers Dabbs Crate Late Models, KB Motorsports Sportsman, Rayner's Automotive & Repair Street Stocks, Patriot Roofing Factory Stocks, and Hot Shots. Pits open at 4:00 P.M., Grandstands at 5:00 P.M., and racing is at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Stands are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $12 for youth (7-12), and free for kids six and under. Pits are $35.
