Weekly Racing Series gets back to action this Saturday!

Terry Mattox - SAPULPA, Okla. (May 6th, 2013) - After last weeks wash out, the 2013 "Weekly Racing Series" is set to get back under way this Saturday night at "The Creek"

After winning his third feature event of 2013 in the Modified division back on April 27th, Brett “The Jet” Wilson leads the pack of mighty Modifieds into this weeks racing action with an 8 point lead over Ho Dean (708-696).

Brent Bates currently leads Ricky York by 87 markers (706-619) in the Champ Sprint chase, with rookie Christian York 156 markers behind the leader to round out the top 3.

Kevin Brewer leads Jeff Record by 39 points (809-770) in the down and dirty Dwarf Car division, with Kent Kantor rounding out the top 3.

On to the Fast and Furious Factory Stock division where Josh Jefferies continues to lead second place Jimmy Owens by 80 markers in the chase, with Dann Gray rounding out the 3 top drivers in the Factory Stock division.

Michael Stucks is still in command of the Mini Stock division, but after picking up the feature win back on April 27th, Daniel Ray Denton has closed the gap from 67 markers to 39 markers behind Stucks in the Mini Stock chase, rounding out the top 3 is Dearl Harrison just 83 markers from the top spot.

Also starting this Saturday night, the highest finishing Front Wheel Drive car in the Mini Stock / FWD division will recieve a $50 bonus!

Load up the kids, call your mother in law and bring them all out to “The Creek” this Saturday night for the fastest fun around!

All 5 classes will be in "Weekly Racing Series" action. Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Mini Stocks and Factory Stocks.

Gates open at 4:30; Hot laps at 6:30; and the green flag flies at 7:00!

Tickets just $10 for adults, children 10-14 $6 and kid 10 and under are always FREE! Pit Pass $30.

Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located outside Sapulpa, Oklahoma on historic Route 66. CCS has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
