Well... what can we say... It was not our night. Brent timed in 4th fast out of 11 cars total. When he took the exit to come off the track after timing in he hit the yuke tire. On the hook to the pits. Did quite a bit of damage. We had a lot of help from the other racers to get her back into shape so we could continue for the night. Did a safety run right before Heat 1 and Brent said she felt good just a little loose. So Ray tightened her up and out he went for Heat 2. Started 2nd row outside. On the 1st lap he got into the #22 car and destroyed right front wheel and new right front tire. Back on the hook and to the pits. That gave him a finish of 5th in his heat. We put an old tire and wheel on the front right. Brent started outside front row for the Main. On lap 22 the motor gave out and that was all she wrote. Brent's crew was shocked. Just redid the motor and thought that was the least of our worries. Brent ended up with a finish of 10th in the main. Talk about a long drive back to Eugene.
