We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a great friend, racer, father, husband, and so much more—Steve Caunt.
Steve was a pillar of the speedway community, known for his passion, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the sport. Whether as a successful driver, crew member, car owner, sponsor, or official, he always put the best interests of speedway first, approaching everything with a selfless heart.
We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside Steve and witness the impact he made both on and off the track. His legacy will live on here at Sydney International Speedway and throughout the wider speedway family.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Caunt family during this difficult time.
