Bryan Hulbert - BILLINGS, Mont. (July 9, 2013) Events at the Billings Motorsports Park are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 9 after a massive rain storm washed out the original Monday date.
The series’ first visit to the three-eighths mile oval is slated to begin at 7:00 P.M. (MDT).
Teams will have to make quick work as the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real continues its trek to the Northwest on Wednesday, July 10 at the Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont.
The site of Brock Lemley’s Lucas Oil ASCS victory in 2012, the Great Falls native is scheduled to be on hand again for the Wednesday affair in the No. 23n. Races Wednesday will begin at 7:30 P.M.
The week caps off on Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13 with the Lucas Oil ASCS prestned by MAVTV American Real joining with the ASCS Northwest Region at the Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Wash.
Johnny Herrera continues to lead the way in the Lucas Oil ASCS national standings with a slim 51 markers over Jason Johnson. Cutting the distance on Herrera to 120 points, Jeff Swindell put his record of podium finishes to seven consecutive with a runner up finish on Saturday, July 6 at Hartford’s I-90 Speedway.
Brad Loyet holds fourth with Tony Bruce, Jr. posting his seventh top five appearance of 2013 to hold fifth in driver standings as Logan Forler’s I-90 Speedway win brought the Arizona driver only five markers behind the No. 18 of Bruce. Seth Bergman isn’t far behind in seventh only 63 points removed from sixth with Dustin Morgan edging back into eighth over Cole Wood and Brandon Hahn.
