Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 10th, 2013) – After a week off, the Creek County Speedway will start the second half of the 2013 racing season this Saturday night July 13th.
NEW START TIMES STARTING THIS WEEK! ACTION STARTS AT 7:30!!!
Beginning this week the “Race for the Championship” begins as we start adding heat race and qualifier points throughout the night instead of just feature points.
Points will NOT be reset. You will keep your points that you have tallied throughout the season.
This Saturday night will also be amnesty night. What is amnesty night? Amnesty night is for paid registered drivers that want a chance to be in the “Race for the Championship.” What this means is that any paid registered drivers that cannot meet the 80% required races and race this week 7/13/13.Still have a shot at end of the year awards and money at a reduced rate. As it stands now the Champ Sprints will pay top ten in points with only 7 cars on pace to meet the 20 race minimum. So 3 spots will go to amnesty drivers in the Champ Sprints. Modifieds will pay top 5 with only 4 cars on pace. Dwarfs will pay top 5 and jackets to the top 10 with 9 cars on pace. Factory stocks will pay top 5 and jackets to top 10 with only 3 cars on pace. Mini Stock will pay top 5 and jackets to top 10 with 7 cars on pace.
