Sorry for the delayed update on last Saturday's Race. First of all it was great to see 3 of our sponsors there enjoying the races that night and supporting us. There were 28 cars total. Brent started 6th in the 4th Heat Race, and finished 5th. He had to go thru the B Main and started 3rd, and 3rd is where he finished. Coming off the track, we had our first casualty for the night, another car couldn't slow down quick enough and got our right rear tire. No hard feelings there, we put on a new tire and headed for the A main. 3rd in the B Main transferred Brent into the A Main. He had to start 19th and finished 14th. Brent ran the whole last half of the race on a flat left rear tire. Not sure how long it was flat and there were several yellow flags. Not a bad end to the ASCS Northwest Speedweek 2013. It was after the race that we noticed the weld in the frame on the front end broke. We have gotten that welded back up better and more solid now. We worked on the car every night this week switching everything over and preparing for the ASCS National Tour, tomorrow and Saturdays race at Elma, WA. Not sure if we are going to be able to use the Drift HD Ghost camera yet as we are still looking for a roll bar mount for it. No room to put it on the helmet as the top wing would block the view. Looks like we will need to order one online. We will still be using our GoPro Hero in the meantime. Let's go racing!!
