At the FASTEST track on the OCRS circuit, Michael "BiGFooT" Bookout utilized his driving skills to power the Jet-Hot and Carter-Maxell Goodyear sponsored sprinter to a 7th place finish in the "A" Feature. The feature started with a light rain falling potentially making for a slicker track, then as the race went on the track began to "take rubber" which caused significant tire wear for the cars, and it was discovered after the race that a right front shock bolt broke early in the race on the "BiGFooT" sprinter. Many of the sprinters blew right rear tires and exited the race. Despite the challenges, Michael took care of the tires, drove with only three shocks and finished a career best.
