Sarver, PA (July 18, 2025) The gang was all back in attendance on Friday night at Lernerville Speedway as the full line up of Fab4 Racing Revved UP with Marburger Farm Dairy took center stage with the return of the Glassmere Fuel Service Late Models after a one week hiatus. A tricky and technical surface awaited drivers as they made their way to the speedway as a good deal of cushion developed throughout the night, putting an emphasis on adjustments with the cars and preferred racing lines.
AJ Flick visited Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane for the first time in 2025 on Friday night in Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Car action with Garrett Krummert hitting pay dirt for the first time this season with his feature victory with the Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds. Michael Norris was the class of the field in the Glassmere Fuel Service Late Model main event and Cody Koteles topped the 17 car Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro stock field for his second win in a row.
Flick Tops Peoples Natural Gas Sprints
Eight time and defending track champion AJ Flick had been his fairly speedy self around The Action Track thus far in 2025 relatively speaking, but had yet to taste the sweet taste of victory to this point in the regular season. Flick started on the front row of the 25 lap main event alongside pole sitter Carmen Perigo Jr. and put himself in the lead early, passing Perigo in turn one with just a lap down. Fourth starting and central PA invader Mike Walter II made his way around as well for second right behind Flick’s pass for the lead and the stage was set for a potential two car duel to the finish.
Behind them, veteran wheelman Dan Kuriger joined Flick and Perigo at the top of the field. Out front, Flick was flying, stretching out a half straightaway advantage with six laps in the books and was into his first batch of lapped traffic ahead. Flick breezed through the cars one by one, using the high side of the speedway while Walter began to close the gap substantially as the race neared the halfway mark, taking looks underneath the leader in turn one until he pulled neck and neck with Flick until Walter had to slow his momentum to make his way around a lapped car. Flick found abundant clean air as lap 13 went in the books and made good use of it, taking his car towards the emerging moisture on the bottom of turns one and two while stretching his lead back out to a near two second lead. Then with five laps to go, Flick faced several more lappers, giving Walter one final chance to pull the trigger on a pass for the lead potentially. Walter tried his best to follow Flick through the cars but was unable to draw close enough to battle for the win while Walter and Kuriger took the final podium spots.

Norris Powers to Late Model Victory
Michael Norris brought a hot hand with him to The Action Track on Friday night having collected the feature win on June 27 before the Glassmere Fuel Service Late Models took a week off, then climbed into a prepared RUSH Late Model a week earlier and taking the honors once again. Clinton Hersh and Alex Ferree started on the pole of Friday night’s main event. Third starting Colton Flinner bolted out to the early lead as Hersh and Ferree got shuffled back on lap one with Ferree immediately finding his rhythm to retake the third spot at the flag stand behind second running Tyler Dietz. All forward progress was then halted for a jingle in turn two as Eric Wilson and Gary Lyle made contact forcing both to spin.
When action resumed with 24 laps remaining, Flinner kept his lead with Dietz right behind while behind them, Norris was moving forward from his sixth starting spot, sizing up potential passes of Ferree and Dietz in the process. Norris made his way around Ferree for third with three laps down as out front, Flinner worked all three grooves early in the going in search of the fastest way around. Dietz was not content to simply hang around in the second spot as he began to make a bid for the lead on lap seven, taking looks underneath Flinner as Norris moved to the very top of the speedway on lap eight, making for a three car battle for the lead with Dietz on the bottom and Flinner in the middle heading down the backstretch.
Dietz appeared to have a slight edge on the bottom, but Norris had just a touch more momentum on the top side as Norris took the lead at the flag stand while Dietz gained total control of the second spot from Flinner. Dietz would not go away quietly as he threw looks while challenging Norris’s lead but was unable to find enough advantage on the bottom to wind up and complete the pass for the lead. Meanwhile, Ferree pulled to the inside of Flinner to battle for third which produced a near dead heat for the position at the halfway mark. Their battle waged on for the spot while out front, Norris had entered lapped traffic with Dietz closing. Dietz once again pulled door to door with Norris, but as the laps began to wind down, Norris was able to stack a 1.1 second advantage between himself and Dietz and never looked back, dispatching one lapped car after another. Dietz turned in a strong , second place finish while Flinner was able to put Ferree behind him for good to round out the podium.

Krummert Collects First Lernerville Win of 2025
Like Flick, Garrett Krummert had yet to savor a feature win in Diehl Automotive Big Block Modified action in his previous four features despite being among the fastest cars on the track which also included two BRP Mod Tour stops. And on Friday night, he was more than up to the challenge. Krummert started on the front row alongside Rick Regalski and once action got underway it was Regalski who got off to a fast start, taking the lead from the outset while behind him, Krummert, Jeremiah Shingledecker, Will Thomas and Dave Murdick were ensconced in battles for the top five spots.
Regalski held the lead over Krummert for the first three laps before Krummert started taking looks to Regalski’s inside coming out of turn two, making the pass for the lead at the flag stand with four laps in the books. Thomas had won the battle for the third spot with Murdick and Shingledecker rounding out the top five. Just behind them young hot shoe Ayden Cipriano and Rex King Jr. started moving forward with authority as they began to stalk and press the back of the top five with six laps down and Krummert holding off a fast running Regalski out front. Thomas eventually made his way underneath Regalski for the second spot while Murdick, Shingledecker, King and Cipriano were battling out the order, all running within two tenths of a second and scattered in the turns.
After Murdick dispatched Regalski for the third spot, Cipriano emerged from the chase pack, passing Regalski, Shingledecker and King along the way to climb to the fourth spot as the race neared the halfway mark while out front, Krummert was looking invincible, stretching out a sizable lead over Thomas as King made his way past Cipriano for the fourth spot. Brayden Beatty, who had taken his first career heat race win earlier in the night, then brought out the caution flag with 16 laps in the books, setting up a potential wild battle for the win. Krummert elected to restart on the top side of the track and when action resumed, Krummert retained the lead with King passing Murdick for third and then Thomas for second with seven laps to go while 15th starting Brian Swartzlander finished up a late race charge, passing Murdick for fourth with four to go. King put forth a furious charge on the top side of the track in an effort to track and pass Krummert but was unable to run down the leader as Krummert crossed first under the checkers.

Koteles Makes it Back to Back Pro Stock Wins
Cody Koteles managed to earn his first feature win of the season last Friday night, and had his work cut out for him to extend the streak to two. Koteles started eighth on the field and his closest pursuers in the standings were both well positioned in front of him at the start of the 20 lap Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stock main event. Chase Lambert and last Friday’s make up feature winner Jacob Dietz started on the front row and from the drop of the green flag, the pair went immediately to work on a battle for the lead with both drivers near a dead heat at the flag stand after one lap. Lambert held a slight early advantage while behind them, Joey Zambotti, Logan Koteles and Brett McDonald rounded out the top five at the end of three laps.
Out front, Lambert had amassed a 1.2 second lead over Dietz with Lambert operating on the bottom side and Dietz up top as Zambotti slowed and limped to the pits, surrendering his fourth spot with mechanical gremlins. The action on the track kept rolling as Cody Koteles entered the top five with eight laps down while Dietz had closed the gap and found himself on Lambert’s bumper at the halfway point. With nine laps to go, Dietz made his bid for the lead up top heading down the backstretch which Lambert was able to move and block with limited contact while Dietz dove down low in turn three come come up with a pass for the lead. With a lapped car on the bottom, both drivers moved higher up top as Dietz made contact with Lambert in his pass attempt, sending Lambert into contact with the turn four/front stretch wall.
Dietz elected to restart on the outside with nine laps to go and assumed the lead as Cody Koteles made his way to third and Logan Koteles tucked away in the second spot. Dietz started pulling away with six laps to go and looked to be well on his way to his second win in three races at Lernerville as Cody Koteles made his way to second and Brett Hutira looking to join the podium. However, Dietz pulled up with a flat tire coming out of turn four with two laps to go. Cody Koteles inherited the lead and was then faced with a green, white, checkered restart following a caution on lap 19, then survived a stiff challenge after the restart from Hutira on the final two laps, but held on for the win with Hutira and Logan Koteles rounding out the top three.
