Blake Hahn Excited for Second Visit to Salina Highbanks Speedway

Inside Line Promotions - KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 13, 2013) - Blake Hahn vows that his second trip to Salina Highbanks Speedway will be better than his inaugural visit last season.

Hahn, who finished 15th during his first trip to the high-banked, 3/8-mile oval last August, will return with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour on Saturday.

"Hopefully we can do a lot better than we did the first time," he said. "We were way off pace and we were just trying to get laps on a big track. That was my first big track I raced on in a sprint car."

Hahn recently got a lot more experience on big tracks with races at Knoxville Raceway and Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. While the tracks are shaped very different than Salina Highbanks Speedway, Hahn said he knows how to handle the car better at a high rate of speed.

"It's definitely fast, especially with the high banking," he said. "I didn't really know a lot last year when we raced there, so hopefully it'll be a lot different when we go there this time. I think you can throw some sliders and cross back under."
