Sanborn, Minnesota's Christopher Thram made the most of his four-day visit to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, not only capping the 64th Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway with a C-Main appearance on Saturday, August 9, but he would open his campaign with back-to-back A-Main starts, highlighting all on-track action with a 17th-place score in Friday's Hard Knox last chance qualifier. In addition, Thram finished 20th in his respective qualifying night A-Main on Thursday, concluding all starts with an eighth-place outcome in the aforementioned Saturday C-Main. Unfortunately, only four made the cut to the 22-lap Knoxville Nationals B-Main.
Christopher Thram will immediately switch focus, set to take on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in upcoming starts at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota, and Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota, on Friday and Saturday, August 15-16.
