For Immediate Release
This Saturday at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) in Warrensburg, W-K Chevrolet presents IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprints plus Weekly Racing for Super Stocks, B-Mods, Pure Stocks, and Midwest Mods.
W-K began in Cole Camp Missouri, in 1919 and transitioned the decades through change and growth until Ken Weymuth and his wife Kim took over in Cole Camp in 1988, and opened the Chevrolet dealership in Sedalia, MO in 1999. Now the fourth generation of Weymuths, Kyle and his brother Kelsey have taken over in Sedalia, purchasing the old Bryant Motors location and bringing W-K Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to Sedalia. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, check them out at www.wkchevy.com.
Last week, Jack Thomas collected his second CMS victory in the guest class IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprint division. The sprints will join all weekly race divisions for another full night of action again this Saturday as Thomas looks to score back-to-back victories.
Looking at the CMS weekly championship point standings, the Super Stock championship will come down to Blaine Ewing and Dave Meyer, who are separated by just 13 points. In B-Mod action, Tim Karrick has extended his lead over Stephen Clancy by 74 points. In the Pure Stock division, David Doelz clings on to a 20-point lead over seven-time feature winner Chase Galvan. For the Midwest Mods, David Wood has a slim 17-point lead over hard-charging Alex Schultz.
All track points end Labor Day weekend as previously detailed in the website track schedule available at www.centralmissourispeedway.net.
