An American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) road trip through Kansas and Colorado concluded with one top-ten for Memphis, Tennessee's Landon Britt, doing so at WaKeeney Speedway in WaKeeney, Kansas, on Friday, August 15. Britt climbed five positions to earn his weekend highlight, kicking things off with his group's fifth-fastest qualifying time and a fifth-place performance during heat race competition.
Although short of matching Friday's performance, Britt's Saturday visit to El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado, was just as hard-fought, concluding ASCS action 15th from 15th on the grid; there were 27 cars entered for action.
