Belleville, IL (8/19/25) Continually striving to raise the level of competition, POWRi thrilled fans with a three-day weekend filled not only with intense racing action but also with history-making moments, as multiple drivers captured their first career feature victories in front of energized crowds.

“These weekends remind us why we race,” said Talin Turner, POWRi Series Director. “Watching a driver earn that first checkered flag is special not just for them, but for their families, crews, and everyone in the pits.”

The weekend kicked off Friday at Lakeside Speedway, where Samuel Wagner raced to his inaugural victory with the POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League. Chris Martin also joined the list of first-time winners, outpacing a hungry field of POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League entrants to etch his name into the POWRi record books.

Saturday brought more milestones at Lucas Oil Speedway, with Scotty Milan making a statement as an Elite 16 member of the POWRi 410 Sprints. Charging from 12th, Milan showcased smooth consistency and nerves of steel on his way to his breakthrough league victory. Jack Wagner added his name to the list of first-time winners as well, earning his first POWRi IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprint triumph driving for Fry Motorsports at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.

Closing the weekend in front of a packed State Fair crowd on Sunday, Missouri State Fair Speedway saw Xavier Doney deliver a fan-favorite performance in the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League feature. His victory sealed the 2025 Missouri State Fair Championship and marked his first league win of the season.
