Abbottstown, PA (August 30, 2025) – Saturday night’s 410 sprint car feature at Lincoln Speedway was nothing short of dramatic, capped off with a post-race twist that saw Aaron Bollinger in victory lane.
Anthony Macri and Ashton Torgerson led the field to the green, racing wheel-to-wheel into turn 1. Macri powered under Torgerson exiting turn 2 to take the early lead with Torgerson settling into second, followed by Chad Dietz and Danny Dietrich.
The race was quickly slowed on lap 1 when Jude Siegel and Billy Dietrich got upside down in turn 1, bringing out the red flag. Both drivers were okay.
Macri controlled the restart, leading Torgerson, Dietz, Danny Dietrich, and Bollinger. Dietz pressured Torgerson, briefly slipping by before Torgerson fought back down the backstretch. Up front, Macri pulled away to a nearly three-second advantage by lap 6 before heavy lapped traffic allowed Torgerson to close within striking distance.
The caution flew again on lap 12 for Dallas Schott, who rolled to a stop on the front stretch. Macri held the lead on the restart as Dietz, Bollinger, and Dietrich swapped positions inside the top five.
By halfway, Macri was back in traffic with a 1.5-second cushion. The leaders navigated through heavy traffic until lap 19, when Preston Lattomus spun in turns 1 and 2 right in front of the leaders, forcing another yellow.
On the restart, Bollinger slipped past Dietz for third while Dietrich powered into fourth. With 10 laps to go, Dietrich closed in on Bollinger, and the top five battled nose-to-tail in traffic.
The race took a dramatic turn with five laps remaining. Torgerson slid Macri in turns 1 and 2, with contact sending Macri spinning and bringing out the caution. Macri’s night ended at the front while Torgerson inherited the lead over Bollinger, Dietrich, Dietz, and Logan Rumsey.
Torgerson executed a strong restart, but Bollinger immediately closed in on the bottom, with Dietrich and Rumsey also in the mix. Bollinger stayed within striking distance, but Torgerson crossed the line first, with Bollinger second.
However, following the race, Torgerson was found light at the scales, handing the victory to Aaron Bollinger, who officially scored the win at Lincoln Speedway. Danny Dietrich, Logan Rumsey, Chase Dietz, and Troy Wagaman completed the top five.
Kepner Holds Off Hendershot for Victory in 305 Sprint Action
Colton Hendershot and Kruz Kepner led the field to the green flag, racing side by side out of turn 2. Kepner edged ahead coming out of turn 4 to officially lead lap 1, with Doug Dodson settling into third, Rory Janney in fourth, and Shelby Kelly and Mike Allman dueling for fifth.
The race was slowed on lap 2 when Tyler Schell rolled to a stop, setting up the first restart. Kepner continued to show the way over Hendershot, Dodson, Janney, and Kelly. A three-car battle quickly developed for fourth between Janney, Kelly, and Allman before another caution waved on lap 4 for a multi-car incident in turns 3 and 4 involving Reece Raudabaugh, Jonathan Swift, Erin Statler, and Fred Arnold.
Kepner once again maintained control on the restart, fending off pressure from Hendershot. Meanwhile, Jordan Welch was making noise on the high line, working his way forward and battling Kelly for fifth. Welch briefly took the position before Kelly fought back to reclaim it.
As the laps wound down, lapped traffic came into play, allowing Hendershot to close the gap on Kepner at the front. With three laps to go, Chris Dolan did a 360 spin in turn 2, bringing out the caution and setting up a dramatic three-lap shootout.
On the final restart, Kepner quickly pulled away, building a comfortable advantage over Hendershot to score the victory. Dodson crossed the line third and Janney was fourth. Kelly completed the top five.
Tomorrow, August 31, Lincoln Speedway is back in action with the Labor Day Duels. Sunday features the 410 Sprints and 358 Sprints. Racing is scheduled for 7PM with pit gates opening at 4:30PM and grandstand gates opening at 5PM.
