Abbottstown, PA (August 31, 2025) – Chase Dietz made the most of a front-row starting spot on Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway, holding off a host of challengers and mastering heavy lapped traffic to score the $10,000-to-win 35-lap feature event.
Dietz lined up on the pole alongside Freddie Rahmer, with Friday night’s winner Aaron Bollinger starting third and eyeing a $5,000 bonus if he could sweep the weekend. Dietz surged ahead at the drop of the green, leading Rahmer and Ashton Torgerson into turn one. Behind them, a three-car battle for fourth quickly developed between Ryan Newton, Ryan Smith, and Danny Dietrich.
Torgerson made his move early, sliding under Rahmer to take over second, while Newton settled into fourth with Dietrich hot on his heels. By lap six, Dietz was already into lapped traffic, holding just over a half-second advantage as Torgerson closed the gap. Working through heavy traffic, Dietz showed poise, maintaining control while Torgerson stayed within striking distance.
The race’s first caution came on lap 11 for an inadvertent yellow, resetting the field with Dietz leading Torgerson, Newton, Rahmer, and Dietrich. Rahmer pounced on the restart, taking third from Newton, but Newton didn’t go quietly, battling back as Dietrich also entered the fray. Dietrich powered into fourth, shuffling Newton to fifth.
At the halfway point, Dietz stretched his lead to nearly two seconds while carving through traffic with precision. Rahmer began pressuring Torgerson for the runner-up spot as Ryan Smith found his way back into the top five. Further back, Bollinger looked to keep his bonus hopes alive, closing in on Smith for fifth. Bollinger briefly took the spot before Smith regained it as the laps wound down.
Through it all, Dietz never faltered, steadily building his advantage and navigating lapped cars flawlessly to secure the $10,000 payday. Torgerson finished second, Rahmer was third, Dietrich crossed the line fourth and Ryan Smith completed the top five.

Carberry Wins 358 Sprint Summer Series Event

The first Summer Series event of the season at Lincoln Speedway saw the distance shortened from 25 laps to 20 due to track conditions, but that didn’t slow down Adam Carberry, who held off heavy pressure to score his first Lincoln Speedway victory.
At the drop of the green, Adam Carberry powered to the lead using the high side out of turn two, edging ahead of Jayden Wolf, who had gone wheel-to-wheel with him into the first corner. Carberry led the opening lap with Wolf in second, Hinkle in third, and Gutshall in fourth. Brayden Mickley wasted little time making his move on the bottom, advancing to fourth and shuffling Gutshall back to fifth.
By lap 10, lapped traffic entered the mix, tightening the battle at the front. Wolf and Hinkle reeled in Carberry as the three drivers waged war for the top spot. Hinkle found speed on the bottom, sliding into second and setting his sights on the leader.
Carberry never flinched, using lapped traffic to his advantage and putting cars between himself and Hinkle with five laps remaining. While the leaders sorted things out up front, Fletcher charged into the top five late, closing in on Mickley for fourth as the checkered flag waved.
Carberry crossed the line first to capture the shortened 20-lap Summer Series feature, Hinkle held on to finish second and Wolf was third. Mickley finished fourth and Fletcher completed the top five.

Next Saturday, September 6, Lincoln Speedway is back in action with ARCH Night featuring the Flying Iron Limited Stock, Superior Homes Extreme Stocks, East Coast Legends and PA Micro Midgets. Racing is scheduled for 5PM with pit gates opening at 2:30PM and grandstand gates opening at 3PM.
