A little frustration was thrown his way, but Kenosha's own Bryce Andrews stepped up and persevered, turning a "DNF" result from Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, into a top-ten outcome at The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, on Sunday, August 31. Andrews, who entered Wisconsin wingLESS competition during his two-day trek through the Badger State, finished sixth in his top-ten appearance, climbing ahead two spots from the outside of row four. Adding to his evening's stat chart, Andrews launched the wingLESS program with the fastest qualifying time, racing on to finish third in his respective heat race.
As hinted, Andrews' weekend technically commenced on Main Street, displaying his Don's Machine Shop No. 17 in the Kenosha Car Show prior to his visit to Wilmot.
Andrews will continue his 2025 campaign with a doubleheader at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday, September 5-6. Visit Cedar Lake online today at https://www.cedarlakespeedway.com/.
