Setser highlights USAC sweep with top-ten at Lucas Oil Speedway; Circle City Raceway on deck

It was a hard-fought stretch through the heart of the Midwest for Columbus, Indiana's Gunnar Setser, concluding his USAC National Sprint Cars doubleheader at Tri City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, and Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, with one top-ten appearance, that of which occurring at Lucas Oil on Saturday, September 6. Setser, who finished seventh, set the evening's tone with a heat race triumph, holding off the likes of Kale Drake and Samuel Wagner. The evening prior at Tri City, Setser finished 11th, rallying five positions from the outside of row eight.

With all results considered, Setser sits 13th in the USAC National Sprint Cars standings, second in the Rookie chase just behind Hayden Reinbold. The USAC schedule will continue with an Indiana double at Circle City Raceway and Tri-State Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 12-13.
