Claims First Career 410 Sprint Car Win in Carolyn Schuh Memorial

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (09/16/25) – Bryce Norris made it a night to remember Friday, capturing his first 410 Sprint Car victory in the Morrow Brothers Ford MOWA Sprint Car Series–sanctioned Carolyn Schuh Memorial at Jacksonville Speedway.

The 18-year-old Terre Haute, Indiana native and Mechanical Engineering freshman at Indiana State University swept the evening in his Platinum Lawncare No. 37 Maxim Chassis, winning both his heat and the feature to collect a $5,000 payday.

“What a night,” Norris said in Victory Lane. “We’ve been making strides throughout the season, getting faster each night out. We were quick right out of the gate and I was able to put together a perfect night. I’ve always loved coming to this place, so it’s really special to get my first 410 win here. Big thanks to my parents for all their help, and to all my sponsors and fans for the continued support.”

Norris came out swinging in the opener of the Illinois doubleheader, leading all eight laps of his heat and taking the win by nearly three seconds. In the feature, he rolled off from the fourth starting spot and quickly worked his way forward, climbing into second by lap 12. He took over the top spot on lap 21 and led the final five circuits, holding off Kory Weyant and Mario Clouser, who rounded out the podium.

In Saturday’s Tom Knowles Memorial at Spoon River Speedway, Norris battled through a tough draw, advancing two positions in his heat to finish sixth. Starting deep in the field for the feature, he charged forward 11 spots in the 30-lap finale to claim an impressive third-place finish.
