SURVIVE THE 55 - MODIFIEDS - MIDGETS - 360 SPRINT CARS

Alger, WA - The final race weekend of 2025 is here. It's time for the fourth annual Survive the 55 with the IMCA Modifieds. Join us at Skagit Speedway this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27, as some of the best Modified drivers battle it out for 55 laps and $10,260 – the highest paying Modified race on the West Coast! Plus, you won't want to miss the last appearance of the CGE Garage Midgets on Friday and the 360 Sprint Cars on Saturday.

For the fourth time, some of the best IMCA Modified drivers flock to Skagit Speedway for the Survive the 55. Jon DeBenedetti was the inaugural winner back in 2022, with Grey Ferrando winning in 2023 and Tom Berry Jr. winning in 2024. The Skagit Speedway IMCA Modifieds wrapped up their 2025 season points chase this past Saturday, Sept. 20, and Jeff Westergard won his second Skagit Speedway points title. Westergard finished the season with two wins, seven top fives, and eight top 10s in eight features raced. The Sedro-Woolley, WA native was the only driver to never finish outside the top ten in all eight races. Adam Holtrop ended the year second in points, eight points shy of Westergard. Holtrop had seven top fives and seven top 10s in eight features raced. The only time he missed the top five was May 3, when he finished 11th. James Bundy finished third in points with three top fives and seven top 10s in eight features raced.

Cole Logan tied Westergard with the most wins this year, both winning twice, with Logan also taking home rookie of the year honors. Last year, Tyson Blood was the highest-finishing driver from the State of Washington, after starting eighth, he picked up two spots to finish sixth. Ferrando was the hard charger, moving up 12 positions to finish ninth after starting 21st.

The CGE Garage Midgets wrapped up their season on Friday, Sept. 19, on Night One of Season Championship weekend. They will be the support division on Friday, just like they were in 2024. Nick Evans got the win that night after starting fifth. Shane Smith won the season points championship this year with two wins and eight top fives in eight races, not missing the top five once. Ryan Orchard finished second in points with three wins, six top fives, and eight top 10s in eight features. Evans finished third with no wins, five top fives, and seven top 10s in eight features.

The 360 Sprint Cars are here one more time for their final appearance of the season. They were the support class in 2024 as well, and Trey Starks won that night with Colton Heath charging from sixth to second. Starks finished the regular season on a high note, wrapping up championships in both the 410 and 360 Sprint Car Divisions. The driver from Puyallup finished the year with five wins, nine top fives, and 10 top 10s in 11 features raced. Jason Solwold finished second in the points with two wins, seven top fives, 10 top 10s, in 11 features raced. Heath wrapped the top three with one win, eight top fives, and 10 top 10s in 11 features.
