
(Plymouth, Wis., Saturday, September 20, 2025)--Wisconsin Sprints Championship Night is next up for Plymouth Dirt Track on Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, Wis.
Despite valiant efforts by Nick Simons, promoter, and along with his fellow track prep crew the 8th Annual Jim "Wildman" Watson Classic on Saturday, September 20 at Plymouth was cancelled after a second heavy rain hit the facility just as the Bandit 4-Cylinder Stock Cars first heat was taking to the track.
After an earlier rain cleared Simons and his team reworked the track and the program got underway with hot laps, qualifying and preliminary heats.
Numerous youngsters went away happy with close to 50 bikes being given away during the track prep time.
For the AutoMeter powered by Gandrud Performance Wisconsin WingLESS Sprints portion of the program, Adam Taylor of Whitfield, IN, series pointleader, posted fast time in Body Craft of Antioch, IL qualifying.
Fox Lake Harbor presents All Star Performance Heat 1 win went to Jimmy Sivia of Winthrop Harbor, IL.
Game Day Men's Health of Libertyville, IL and soon to be Kenosha presents Behling Race Equipment Heat 2 was won by Tyler Kuxhouse of Antioch, IL.
BR Motorsports presents King Race Products Heat 3 went to Salem's George Gaertner III.
During the rain delay and bike giveaway WingLESS drivers Taylor, Gaertner, Sivia, Ralph Johnson of Silver Lake, Trinity Uttech of Kenosha and Bryce Andrews of Kenosha participated in a impromptu autograph meet and greet with fans in the concourse area.
At Plymouth Dirt Track Saturday, September 27, in the WingLESS championship Taylor is comfortably in front with 2,781 points, 118 ahead of second place Kuxhouse. Tim Cox of Park City, IL is third 441 out of the lead. Allen Hafford of Beach Park, IL is fourth 470 back. Watertown's Greg Alt completes the top five 499 behind.
In the Bumper to Bumper IRA 410 Winged Sprints, Blake Nimee of Yorkville, IL has the 2025 title about wrapped up needing to sign in, qualify and take a green in a heat race to secure the coveted crown.
A close battle for second through fifth has Jake Blackhurst of Hanna City, IL second 102 points out of the lead. Jordan Goldesberry of Springfield, IL is third 13 points back from Blackhurst. Oconomowoc's Logan Julien, 16-years-old, is fourth 14 behind second. Max Guilford of Auckland, New Zealand completes top five 51 points out of runner-up.
Brian Strane Jr. of Paris, who recently turned age 16, holds a comfortable 55-point lead with 1,903 points atop the 11-75 Sports Complex & Eatery IRA Lightning Sprints standings. Big Bend's Chad Stouthamer is second 55 points from the top with 1,848.
Nick Petska of Spring Grove, IL is third 136 points out of the lead. Bristol's Tucker Richards, another high school student, is third 190 points from the lead. Tim Brannam of Holiday Hills, IL completes the top five 326 points from the top.
The Midwest Sprint Car Association 360 Winged Sprints have the closest championship battle with home track and town driver Ben Schmidt leading by 4 points, 1,668-1,664, over second place Kevin Karnitz of West Bend.
