The 2025 Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprints season came to an end on a beautiful 80-degree day at the Plymouth Dirt Track. Max Guilford started the action-packed night by going fastest in Box3 Media Hot Laps, followed by Logan Julien, who picked up the final Hi Plains Building Division Quick Time award of the year in Carbon Safety Technologies Qualifying.

The 2025 champion, Blake Nimee, secured one last heat race win by winning Fox Lake Harbor presents Allstar Performance Heat Race #1. Next was Body Craft of Antioch presents Engler Machine & Tool Heat Race #2, where Joel Myers Jr., in the 19, advanced three positions to pick up the win. Will Gerrits in the GR8 took the checkered first in Behling Racing Heat Race #3 presented by Game Day Men’s Health, making that his second heat race win of the 2025 season. Heat race action was closed out with The Philo Phenom, Kyle Schuett, winning King Racing Products Heat Race #4 presented by BR Motorsports.

Next up was the Horizon Whiskey Dash Redraw. Blake Nimee and Will Gerrits both drew pole positions for Optimum Electric Dash #1 and Kristine Hartmann-Pleasant View Realty Dash #2. Nimee fell back to fifth, which allowed Danny Schlafer to get the Optimum Electric Dash #1 win and start on the pole of the night's Rick Schmidtt Memorial 30-lap feature. Kyle Schuett picked up the win in Kristine Hartmann-Plesant View Realty Dash #2, completing the front row of the feature. Transferring out of the Behling Racing Equipment B Feature were Jack Dover, Justin Erickson, Billy Kreutz, and Scott Conger. TJ Haddy earned the night's A-Main Apparel and Diecast B-Main Award.

For the final time in 2025, the green flag dropped for 30 laps around the Plymouth Dirt Track. Logan Julien capitalized on the start and got ahead of Danny Schlafer to lead lap one. After only two laps had been completed, the red flag flew for a multiple-car incident in turn one.

Cruz Dickerson, Max Guilford, Travis Arenz, and Justin Erickson were all involved with Guilford on his side, and Dickerson landed on all four; all drivers were okay. Arenz and Dickerson retired for the night, while Guilford and Erickson both took trips to the Honest Abe Roofing Work Area. Erickson and Guilford both pushed back out to rejoin the field with 28 laps left.

Gibbsville Restart Cone out, the green flag flew once again. Julien continued his lead, while things would shake up in the positions behind him. Myers Jr. and Schlafer exchanged second place a few times, but Myers Jr. ended up pulling past him, starting his hunt for the lead. With Schlafer now in third, Jordan Goldesberry began making his way through the field, finding himself up to fourth.

As Julien entered lap traffic, Myers Jr. followed closely behind, the two eventually getting side by side for the lead. Julien maneuvered his way through the lap cars to maintain the lead, putting one car between him and Myers Jr. After the tight battle, the Honest Abe Roofing caution flag flew for Dover, who slowed on the backstretch with a flat left-rear tire. Dover made a trip to the Honest Abe Roofing Work Area and rejoined the field with 16 laps to go.

Once again, Julien led on the restart, completing the first half of the feature. Goldesberry closed in on Schuett for third, while Myers Jr. started to do on Julien. Lap traffic became prevalent again, which Julien used to his advantage by creating a gap between him and Myers Jr. The 96 of Jake Blackhurst pulled into the infield, and the field remained green. A battle for fifth came shortly after between Nimee and Schlafer, but ended soon with the final Honest Abe Roofing Caution Flag of the night. Guilford spun in turn two, forcing him to retire for the night.

Julien led the final Gibbsville Cheese Restart with 5 laps to go. One last side-by-side battle broke out between Julien and Myers Jr., but the white flag soon flew, followed by a checkered flag, making Logan Julien the first and only driver with four Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Car wins in the 2025 season. Jack Dover earned the RT’s Fifth Quarter Hard Charger Award, advancing seven positions, and Corbin Gurley was the night’s Honest Abe Roofing Rookie of the Race.

Blake Nimee is declared the 2025 Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Cars Champion with an astonishing 2,946 points for the season. The Honest Abe Roofing and Hepfner Racing Products Rookie of the Year title has been awarded to the Auckland, NZ native, Max Guilford. Everyone with the Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprints would like to thank all the drivers, teams, and fans for their continued loyalty and support throughout the 2025 season.

Banquet details will be released as soon as they are available.
