Inside Line Promotions – PLYMOUTH, Wis. (Sept. 29, 2025) – Jack Dover captured the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars last Saturday during the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series season finale at the Plymouth Dirt Track.

The Tim Estenson Motorsports driver opened his debut at the track by timing in 14th quickest during qualifying. Unfortunately, a DNF in a heat race relegated him to the B Main. Dover won that race to transfer into the back of the main event.

“We went out third in qualifying and the track was a little greasy,” he said. “The track got faster and I ended up three tenths off quick time, but that’s part of the draw. Sometimes you wish you drew up front and sometimes at the back.

“We took off in the heat race and my steering gear was locking up going into turn one. It really started acting up so I pulled in. We got it switched and we were pretty good in the B Main.”

Dover hustled from the 21st starting position to 11th place by Lap 10 of the A Main, but a flat tire near the midpoint of the 30-lap race dropped him to the rear of the field. Following a pit stop to replace the tire, Dover was able to salvage a solid outing by climbing back into the top 15 before a last-lap pass gave him a 14th-place finish.

“We tightened the car up a little more, put some tires on and filled it with fuel for the start of the feature,” he said. “About halfway through we lost the left rear tire. We came in, switched it, got back out there and were able to pass a few more cars. Without that tire issue we were probably a fifth or sixth-place car.

“You can’t prevent a steering gear breaking so it’s one of those things. The tire coming apart, we couldn’t control that either. It stinks we had all that happen eight hours from home, but we never give up. We have fight in us and we have speed.”

The racing plan for this weekend is to be determined.
