Setser eighth in Saturday stop in Haubstadt

Gunnar Setser's Saturday stop in Haubstadt was competitive, to say the least, and although the event did not carry the USAC National Sprint Cars banner, the stars and cars of the Series were present, and Setser was there to make a statement. When the dust finally settled, Setser found himself with a top-ten, charging ahead four spots from row six to finish eighth in the 25-lap contest. The young man out of Columbus, Indiana, was third in his respective heat race to qualify, eventually driving on to outdo much of the 30-car field.

Speaking of USAC, the Series will continue their 2025 season with a doubleheader at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on Friday and Saturday, October 10-11. The Fall Nationals event will be USAC's final Indiana appearance of the 2025 season.

Setser is currently tenth in USAC's National Sprint Cars standings, also in charge of the Rookie of the Year standings.
