Heading north to Caney, Kansas, Michael & BiGFooT Racing encountered temps in the 100's, a dry track and a race ending incident. Earning passing points for passing two cars in the heat race, Michael started on the front row of the "A" Feature. Despite having a car not set up as well for the dry track conditions as it could have been, Michael raced hard, but late in the race another car ran over Michael's front end, breaking both front shocks and taking out the torsion arm. It was the first DNF due to wreck since a flip in race two of the season. Michael will return for action next Saturday in Pocola, Oklahoma at Tri-State Speedway.
