After more than a decade away, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series is making its long-awaited return to LaSalle Speedway & Event Center, marking the series’ first appearance at the high-banked 1/4-mile oval since 2013.
LaSalle has played host to the World of Outlaws nine times since 1994, when Sprint Car legend Steve Kinser captured the inaugural LaSalle victory. The most recent event in 2013 saw Tim Kaeding take the checkered flag, followed by Donny Schatz and Craig Dollansky rounding out the podium.
Now, after a 12-year hiatus, the stars of the World of Outlaws are set to thrill fans once again as they battle for glory on one of Illinois’ most exciting bullrings.
Promoters Tony Izzo Jr. and Justin McCoy are thrilled to welcome the series back to LaSalle to close out what has been a banner year for the facility.
“It’s going to be a great way to end what has been a very successful 2025 season at LaSalle,” said Izzo. “The best Sprint Car drivers in the nation are going to make their way to LaSalle this weekend, giving fans the chance to see the absolute best of the best that the Sprint Car world has to offer.”
Fans can expect an action-packed weekend featuring high-speed racing, world-class talent, and the electrifying atmosphere that only the World of Outlaws can deliver.
