Moore highlights busy USCS weekend at Riverside with podium

Howard Moore's two-day weekend at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas, was more than productive, not only padding the stat sheet with another check in the top-five column, but the young man out of nearby Memphis highlighted all action with a podium, doing so in the United Sprint Car Series (USCS) "FLIP" main event on Saturday, October 11.

Moore, who piloted Tiny Gaines’ G6 in the USCS doubleheader, finished third in his podium outcome, commencing action from the exact same position. It was Moore's preliminary effort on Friday, October 10, that set the tone for his eventual podium, finishing second in his respective heat race before racing on to finish third in the program's Pole Scramble.

Saturday's "FLIP" feature was actually one of two USCS main events on the card with the "FLOP" feature following. Unfortunately for Moore, he was unable to finish.
