Terre Haute, Indiana's Bryce Norris did his best to defend home state dirt Friday night at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana, joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in the World of Outlaws Putnamville Showdown - the first visit by the Series in nearly a decade. Norris, a recent MOWA winner, finished 13th in the 35-lap blockbuster, kicking things off with the third-fastest qualifying time, racing on to finish second in his respective heat race. The heat result propelled Norris to the evening's dash where he finished seventh, his eventual A-Main starting position. Norris' eventual outcome was more than respectable, as 32 entries made the call, not just the World of Outlaws, but all of the region's finest.
Bryce Norris was scheduled to rejoin the Greatest Show On Dirt on Saturday at LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois, but Mother Nature had other plans.
