Setser highlights USAC's stretch through Kansas and Texas with top-ten at Route 66

USAC National Sprint Cars Rookie of the Year contender Gunnar Setser logged some serious miles during the recent weekend, continuing his USAC slate with a doubleheader weekend along the Great Plains with visits to Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas, and Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas.

Back-to-back nights resulted in one top-ten for the Columbus, Indiana, native, doing so at the latter on Saturday, October 18. In fact, Setser, who is currently tenth in the USAC national standings, finished sixth in his top-ten outcome, charging forward from the inside of row seven. For his efforts, Setser locked down the evenings' Rod End Supply Hard Charger Award.

Although he was unable to open his weekend with a top-ten at Dodge City, his eventual outcome was almost as impressive, powering forward four spots to finish 11th at the final checkers.

The USAC National Sprint Cars will conclude their 2025 season with one final weekend of competition, set to visit Central Arizona Raceway for the 58th Western World Championships on Friday and Saturday, October 24-25. For more information, visit USAC online at www.usacracing.com.
