Soaking up a year that brought a brighter spotlight to the stars of Volusia Speedway Park, 2026 keeps a marquee-focused schedule that builds on track traditions while forming new ones.
The “World’s Fastest Half Mile” will host 15 events from January to December, totaling nearly 40 nights at the track, which involves a mix of divisions from the national leagues to the local levels of dirt track racing, and monster trucks.
The track’s “Fab 5” divisions – 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, 3/4 Modifieds, and Factory Stocks – will chase points towards the championship through 10 events that include twin appearances from the Top Gun Sprint Car Series.
NATIONAL KICKOFF
2026 at “The World’s Fastest Half Mile” will begin with the seventh annual DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals, featuring the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Models presented by DIRTVision, Crate Racin’ USA (604) Late Models, and DIRTcar 602 Late Models.
The “Late Model Palooza” opens with practice for the three divisions on Wednesday, Jan. 21, before going into three straight nights (Jan. 22-24) of non-stop Late Model action.
The following week, Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals returns for its 55th edition, keeping its schedule of 15 races in 17 days and again presenting six Big Gator trophies to the week’s points champions.
For the second straight year, the American Sprint Car Series will bring the best 360 Sprint Car drivers from around the country to DIRTcar Nationals for the opening week, Jan. 29-31, and will be joined by the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds.
Week 2 (Feb. 2-7) features a field of over 100 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds every day, while the Sprint Cars grow from 360 to 410 engines when the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series invades Barberville for four straight nights, starting on Wednesday. Big Gator champions for both divisions will be determined on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Week 3 (Feb. 9-14) begins with two nights of USAC Non-Winged Sprint Car Big Gator chasing on Monday and Tuesday. DIRTcar Late Models battle from Monday to Wednesday before the 55th running concludes with the Super DIRTcar Series on Wednesday-Saturday, and World of Outlaws Late Models on Thursday-Saturday. The Big Block and Late Model Big Gator champions will be crowned on Valentine’s Day, Saturday.
While the other touring divisions depart from the “Sunshine State” after DIRTcar Nationals, the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars make a final visit to Volusia for the fourth annual World of Outlaws Bike Week Jamboree on Sunday-Monday, March 1-2, during Daytona’s historic 85th Bike Week. The Greatest Show on Dirt will be joined by the track’s Factory Stock division for their first joint event together.

Volusia Speedway Park’s mission to highlight its top divisions returns in 2026 with the track’s iconic “Fab 5” set to take center stage throughout the season with monthly events that showcase the local heroes of each division.
There will be eight Volusia Speedway Park races that exclusively highlight the “Fab 5” through the 2026 calendar, which includes the Benny Corbin Memorial (March 21), Short Track Showdown (April 11), Wild Card 25 (May 9), Firecracker Showdown (June 13), Summer Sizzler (July 11), Labor Day Classic (Sept. 3-5), Clay Classic (Oct. 24), and Prelude to the Reutimann (Nov. 14).
The local season begins with a new event to honor the track’s creator with the Benny Corbin Memorial. Practice for all divisions on Friday, March 20 will help drivers test and tune their machines. Then, the “Fab 5” begins the points hunt on Saturday night as the Factory Stocks highlight the opening night with a $2,098-to-win payday and $98-to-start.
For the first time in over four years, the Wild Card 25 returns to VSP, which offers the 604 Late Models $2,500 after 25 laps for the division’s victor on May 9.
The Prelude to the Reutimann returns as the key warmup event before the 13th Annual Emil and Dale Reutimann Memorial, as the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds Feature winner will be locked into the Saturday finale. The November night will be the points finale for the 2026 “Fab 5” season.
Similar to 2025, the 604 Late Models, 602 Late Models, DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, and 3/4 Modifieds keep their standard to-win amounts, while the Factory Stocks move up to a minimum of $600-to-win.

Volusia Speedway Park is not what it is without the fan-favorite events that highlight the track as a “can’t miss” destination in Volusia County.
Top Gun Sprint Cars return to Volusia for two visits, beginning with the Top Gun Classic on Aug. 28. The event is the only Friday race of the season, serving as a prelude showcase before the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday night. Then, the 360 Sprint Car division makes its last visit to the “World’s Fastest Half Mile” in the year for the fourth annual Battle in Barberville on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The annual three-day Labor Day Classic is back with three consecutive nights of action. Thursday, Sept. 3, begins with open practice for any class of car at Volusia, then the stage is set with two consecutive nights of “Fab 5” racing on Friday, Sept. 4, and Saturday, Sept. 5.
The cooler temperatures build up the pressure in November as the Emil & Dale Reutimann Memorial returns for the 13th year, Nov. 19-21, hosting the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds in the biggest event to honor one of Florida’s storied racing families.
Thursday commences the event with practice for all divisions before Friday hosts four Showdown Feature races to lock in the top-20 drivers into the finale. Saturday begins with Last Chance Showdowns before the finale’s 50-lap, $10,000-to-win finale.
WINTER TRUCKIN
An unlikely visitor will invade Volusia Speedway Park as the 2X Monster Trucks Live Tour makes its debut appearance on Saturday, Dec. 12.
These 10,000-pound machines give fans a unique sight at “The World’s Fastest Half Mile” that includes a show of freestyle motocross, battery-operated racing for children aged 12 and under, and ride-along opportunities for fans.
Created by Monster Jam World Champion Jimmy Creten, the family-focused event gives a chance for fans to meet and greet their monster truck heroes before witnessing high-flying daredevil stunts in the Volusia County area to close out the activity at the dirt track in 2026.
