Following a successful launch of the series in 2025, Quick Change Liquid Energy is excited to announce that we will continue and enhance our financial backing of the California 305 Sprint Series (formerly the California Regional Sprint Car Series) for 2026. In 2025, this sprint car series showcased highly competitive racing, thrilling audiences at Santa Maria Speedway, Kern Raceway, and at the Tulare Thunderbowl. Racers of all experience levels took part in the series, which not only included many seasoned veterans but also offered a pathway for newcomers transitioning from micros, winged go-karts, and other racing divisions into the sprint car arena.
The California 305 Sprint Series is developing a strategic plan that will extend over the next 3 to 5 years, concentrating on affordability for current and future competitors. A revised schedule for the 2026 season is expected to receive board approval soon, which will include more race events and improved financial rewards in addition to the already increased purses for 2025.
“Mike Mitchell and I look forward to the opportunity to work with Alicia and Brian Garges, along with their newly formed advisory board, to create a successful 2026 season for all 305 teams, the host tracks, and all sprint car racing enthusiasts." At Quick Change, we are enthusiastic about supporting this expanding trend of cost-effective sprint car racing in California.
