WILLIAMS GROVE TO HOST ANNUAL NSCHoF/EMMR AUCTION THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, AT 11 A.M.

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (October 1, 2013) - The Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, will once again host the joint National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF)/Eastern Museum of Motor Racing (EMMR) benefit auction on Saturday, October 5, at 11 a.m. The annual joint auction is free and open to the public, and will be held near the backstretch pit gate on the afternoon of the 51st annual Williams Grove National Open, sanctioned by the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series.

According to National Sprint Car Museum special events coordinator David Herrmann, “We are pleased to be heading to central Pennyslvania again this fall to work with the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing and the Williams Grove Speedway on this joint fundraising event. Lynn Paxton, Joe Heisler, Marlin Heller, Don Robinson, Kathy Hughes, Justin Loh and all of the others just make us feel so welcome every year. We are bringing out some unique, autographed memorabilia this year for the auction, including personally-signed items from Rick Ferkel, Kyle Larson, Jac Haudenschild, A.J. Watson and Mario Andretti. Plus, the Eastern Museum has many great items this year, including an original STP pit crew uniform, a Fred Rahmer-autographed Tuscarora 50 winner’s check and a Keith Kauffman-autographed Al Hamilton #77 front wing. This will likely be our biggest and best Williams Grove auction ever!”
