Fortunes Change at a Traditionally Unlucky Track

Team BigFooT has had misfortune the last couple of seasons at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma. From the loss of brakes due to another sprinter running up and over Michael's car in 2012 and a hard flip in 2013, along with blowouts on the trailer tire and transmission overheating in the tow vehicle on various trips to SOS, the 2014 OCRS event was an opportunity to turn the luck around.

Michael and Team BiGFooT responded. After a low finish in the heat race, Michael raced to the final transfer spot in the "B" Feature and competed well in the "A" Feature, at one point racing to 9th after starting 19th. A scoring error and loss of gear on the final lap resulted in Michael finishing 13th. The finish was an improvement on the first race of the season and evidence that Michael and the BiGFooT team is set to compete for top finishes this season

The Mike Stewart powered sprinter, lubricated with Champion Brands lubricants, with parts manufactured by Ti22 Performance, and headers coated by Jet-Hot High Performance Coatings will continue it's trek across the Oklahoma region with next week's race at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, Oklahoma.

The pic associated with this news release is from the entrance to SOS and echoes the sentiments of each of the tracks that the OCRS competes at.
