WoO At a Glance: Husets Speedway & Eagle Raceway

Concord, NC— June 29, 2009
WHAT
• The World of Outlaws head north to the upper Midwest to begin the Holidays weekend with a stop at Huset’s Speedway in South Dakota on Friday, July 3 for the series only stop at the high-banked bullring this season after Mother Nature was victorious at the track in early May. The series then makes a trip south to Eagle Raceway in Nebraska on the Fourth of July for their only race of 2009 in the Cornhusker state. Craig Dollansky won both events at Huset’s Speedway last season and also was victorious at Eagle Raceway. In the last eight events for the series at Huset’s there has been seven different drivers pick up wins and five different winners in the last five events at Eagle.
WHEN
• On Friday July 3 at Huset’s Speedway, the pit gates will open at Noon Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Central and time trials set for 7:30 p.m. Central.

• On Saturday, July 4 at Eagle Raceway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Central with hot laps set for 6 p.m. Central and racing at 7:30 p.m. Central.

WHERE
• Huset’s Speedway is located in Brandon, South Dakota. Take I-90 east of Sioux Falls to exit 406, then go south three miles on State Road 11.

• Eagle Raceway is located in Eagle, Nebraska. Take I-80 to exit 420 then travel 11 miles south on State Road 63.

TICKETS
• On Friday, July 3 at Huset’s Speedway, adult tickets will be $35, with tickets for juniors (ages 8-14) just $5 and kids 7-under will be admitted free of charge. All tickets will be general admission and will be available the day of the race at the gate. For more information visit: http://www.husets-speedway.com.

• On Saturday, July 4 at Eagle Raceway, adult reserved tickets will be $30 if purchased in advance and $35 the day of the race, with tickets for children ages 6-12 just $10 and kids 5-under will be admitted free of charge. Pit combos are also available for an extra $5 with a reserved ticket and include a reserved seat and a pit pass.
