Fast Five Weekly Series set for Week Eight this Saturday

Terry Mattox - SAPULPA, Okla. (May 14, 2014) - This Saturday night the action in the “Fast Five Weekly Series” tackles week eight of the 2014 season.

This Saturday night is Whirlpool night, as give-a-ways will be given out throughout the night. Its a night you don't wanna miss out on!

Ricky York stands on top of the points chart in the Champ Sprint division with a slim 11 point lead over Bandon James. Kevin Brewer is up to the third spot 52 points behind James. Continuing his dominance in the Champ Sprint division, Brent Bates is in fourth, with Len Larkin rounding out the top five.

Ho Dean continues to lead the Modified point standings with a 141 point lead over second place, Johnny DeRamus. Anthony Neel is sitting in the third spot 102 points behind DeRamus. Spencer Hill and “Rad” Chad Davis currently round out the top five in Modified points going into week eight.

Tanner Phillips currently holds a very slim three point lead over Rob McQuary in the Dwarf Car division. Sitting in the third spot just 37 points behind McQuary is Jeff Record. Samuel Stagemen and Jorge Chacon round out the top five in the Dwarf Car division going into this week’s affair.

Another close battle in the point standings is in the Factory Stock division as Tommy Romine currently leads Bobby Wolfe by seven points. Jimmy Owen is in third 152 markers behind second place. Toby Cooper and Lance Folsom currently compelte the top five in the Factory Stock point standings.

33 points currently separate Dee Denton and Evan Smith in the Mini Stock division. Joshua Tyre currently holds down the third spot 10 points behind Smith. Dale Wick holds down fourth with Michael Stucks rounding out the top five.

Gates open at 4:30; Hotlaps at 6:30; and the green flag flies at 7:00!

Tickets for Saturday are just $10 for Adults, Kids 10-14 $6 and children under 10 are always FREE! Pit Passes $30.

Load up the kids, call your mother in law and bring them all out to “The Creek” this Saturday night for the fastest fun around!
