It was a busy holiday week the Jody Rosenboom Racing starting with racing Micro Sprints as part of the World of Outlaws show at Husets on Wednesday night. Jody was able to move from his 8th starting spot into the top 5 for a 4th place finish and a nice start to the week. Then onto Jackson Speedway for the Folkens Bros Trucking Sprint Car Nationals to pull double duty in the non wing micro and the 360 sprint car. Jody earned the 3rd starting spot for the micro feature and was able to get by and take the lead just before the halfway point and go on to win the feature! In a tough field of 360's battling for $10,000 to win Jody started last in his qualifying heat and was able to get up to 6th and earn enough points to qualify for the A Main. Starting 18th on the field Jody battled his way to 14th before another car made contact with him sending him into a roll and ending his night. Jody and Chad went to work and got another car ready over the holiday and it was onto Husets again Sunday for some 410 competition. Jody came out well and set quick time for the night and then qualified for the redraw through the heat race, but the draw unfortunately was not in our favor and started us in the tenth position. Jody moved his way up to fourth before losing a spot on the final restart to finish 5th on the night. The team looks to get back to a more normal schedule this upcoming week.
