Lincoln, IL. - On Friday, August 15th, Schuett Racing Inc. took to the fast, semi-banked ¼ mile Lincoln Speedway with the #9K Illiana Insurance Agency-sponsored, Shively-powered Sawyer Chassis micro-sprint. Kyle would draw towards the back of his heat race, starting him in the 8th positon. Maneuvering through the field to finish in the 3rd position earned Kyle his first career pole for the A-Main after gathering the most passing points out of all the drivers. After all 20 laps of the feature were in the books, he would get his first career podium and finish in the 3rd position. “We ran pretty well tonight, stated Schuett. “Third place is nothing to hang our heads on. It’s an awesome finish.”
The next night at Macon Speedway was rained out.
