[b World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series At a Glance: Ironman 55 at I-55 Raceway]

[i Concord, NC— August 3, 2009]

• The inaugural Ironman 55 at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri is up next for the World of Outlaws on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8. The finale of the event will be 55 laps of green flag racing with the winner earning $20,000 as the “Month of Money” continues for the World of Outlaws. After getting rained out in the spring at I-55, the Ironman 55 will be the series only stop of the season at the always racy, high-banked 1/3-mile bullring. In each of the last 14 events for the World of Outlaws at I-55, there has been a different winner. Last season at the track, Jason Meyers edged Craig Dollansky to pick up his first career win at the track which is co-owned by Ken Schrader.

WHEN
• On Friday, August 7 at I-55 Raceway, the pit gates will open at 4 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates also opening at 4 p.m. Central with hot laps set for 6 p.m. Central.

• On Saturday, August 8 at I-55 Raceway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates also opening at 2 p.m. Central with hot laps set for 6 p.m. Central.

WHERE
• I-55 Raceway is located in Pevely, Missouri. Take I-55 to Herculaneum exit (#178), head east on U.S. 61/67, go north to Herky-Horine Road, then 1/2-mile west.

TICKETS
• On Friday, August 7 at I-55 Raceway, general admission tickets will be $27, with reserved tickets $29. 2-day tickets are available if purchased before Thursday, August 6 for $50 and includes a pit pass for Saturday. For tickets call the track at 636-479-3219.
