Friday's tilt atop the semi-banked, 3/8-mile Green Valley Speedway clay oval marks the seventh event of the season for the ASCS Rebel Region.

And, with five top-five runs in six previous events including a January 30 win at Tampa's East Bay Raceway Park, Martin has amassed a 62-point advantage over Jacksonville, Florida's Matt Kurtz in the ASCS Rebel title chase.

Largo, Florida's Bob Auld enters Friday's action ranked third behind Martin and Kurtz, with Aubrey Black and Matt Linder rounding out the current top five in points.

Mississippi's Michael Miller topped last year's ASCS Rebel stop at Green Valley, with Memphis-area shoes Wade Oliver and Brad Bowden victorious at Green Valley in 2007.
