.25 Midget Western Regional Series Announced

2015 USAC HONDA .25 MIDGET WESTERN REGIONAL SERIES ANNOUNCED

USAC is proud to announce the introduction of the 2015 USAC Honda .25 Midget Western Regional Series. All five USAC tracks located in the western part of the country will take part in this unique opportunity. National events at Tucson, Austin, and San Antonio will offer duel points (national and regional) in 2015. The events taking place at those three tracks will follow national format, with practice and registration taking place on Friday night. Another round of practice will take place Saturday morning leading up to heat races, lower mains, and feature events. Sundays are open for rain dates.

The stand alone regional events taking place in both San Bernardino, and Albuquerque. Track will be closed the Monday prior to an event starting at 12:01 am. Registration will be open from 6-8pm at the track Friday night prior to the start of an event. Registration will be open from 7-8:30 am on race days. Controlled practice will take place from 5 to 8pm. In the event of a rainout national rainout procedures will be followed. No make up dates for rainout events.

The event regional event taking place in San Bernardino will be part of the Orange Show club’s annual Ernie Bose World Record Race. Qualifying will take place on Saturday night with lower mains to follow. A mains will take place on Sunday.

The event hosted by the Roadrunner club in Albuquerque, NM will take place during their annual Balloon Classic event! Practice will take place Friday, October 9th with racing on the 10th.

Top three in each competitive class will receive awards at each track. Top three in each competitive class will receive end of the year awards. To be eligible for awards you must attend 4 out of the 5 events. Top 3 finishes out of 5 events will count toward your end of the year standings.
