Terry Mattox - SAPULPA, Okla. (May 24, 2015) – Brandon James, Matthew McBride, Brent Bates, Bobby Wolfe and Bobby Traster each added their names to the Randy Wheeler Memorial win list after claiming feature victories on Friday night.
Brandon James out dueled Casey Wills to claim the fame in the Champ Sprint division topping a 21 car field. Grant Wresche crossed the line in the third spot with Michael Tyre and Waylon Weaver rounding out the top five. James, Jimmy Taylor and Ben Frey each took heat race wins on Friday night.
Matthew McBride took home is first feature event win in the Modified division while adding his name to the Randy Wheeler Memorial win list. Chad Davis came across the line in the second spot. Collin Wiseley took the last spot on the podium with Anthony Neel and Ho Dean rounding out the top five. Chad Davis swept the heat race and qualifier during the night.
Brent Bates took home the victory in the Dwarf Car division. Sam Champlain came across in second. Jeff Record was third with Kyle Spencer and David Cummins the top five. Record took home the heat win while Bates scored the qualifier win.
Bobby Wolfe swept the night and topped a 10 car field in the Factory Stock division. Danny Cochran was second and John Paul Larison rounded out the podium. Toby Cooper and Dalton Garrison completed the top five.
Bobby Traster scored his first Randy Wheeler Memorial title in the Mini Stock division out dueling a 16 car field. Dee Denton came up one spot short and settled for second. Wesley Knebel came home in third with Jimmy Masterson and Richard Shipley taking the top five.
Fast Five Weekly Series action returns back to Saturday night this next week on Saturday, May 30 with all classes battling it out for the 2015 championship.
