Bookout's Performance at Lawton Moves Him Up to 12th in Season Standings

Michael Bookout made the trip south from Tulsa to compete at Lawton Speedway; it was the first OCRS event in weeks due to multiple rainouts. A fifth place finish in the heat race placed him in one of the "B" Features. Taking the final transfer spot in the "B", Bookout started 20th in the "A". Racing to as high as 10th by midway in the thirty lap feature, he had to pull off the track due to a significant vibration. He was scored as finishing 17th in the "A"; the points from the races for the evening was enough to move him up a few spots in the season standings to 12th.
