Inside Line Promotions – FAIRMONT, Minn. (July 20, 2015) – Mark Burch Motorsports earned its first victory of the season last week during the JSTS Speedweek.

Danny Lasoski piloted the team to the win on Wednesday at Sioux Speedway in Sioux Center, Iowa, to kick off three straight nights of racing.

“Mark and I haven’t had the opportunity to race much this year and the two times we did we had terrible luck,” he said. “A victory was gratifying to say the least. Mark works his butt off. To be able to get a victory with him was great.”

The event began with Lasoski maneuvering from sixth to win a heat race. That lined him up on the outside of the front row for the main event.

“Gregg Bakker got a good start and I had to work for it,” he said. “He was running the middle and I got to rolling the top. The race car was phenomenal and they did a great job on the race track to give us a top and a bottom.”

Lasoski took the lead before the midpoint of the feature and he cruised to the win, which was the 11th with Mark Burch Motorsports since the start of the 2013 season.

The team ventured to Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minn., the ensuing night, when Lasoski won a heat race from the pole position. After starting on the outside of the third row of the main event Lasoski battled for a top five before he posted a fifth-place result.

“We weren’t very good,” he said. “We ran top five, but that’s not saying much. We left a lot out there.”

The week concluded on Friday at Fairmont Raceway, where Lasoski advanced from fifth to second place during a heat race. He then started the feature on the inside of the second row during his debut at the track.

“We were in the game the whole time,” he said. “I passed (Scott Winters) for second place and the caution came out. That put me behind him for the restart. Then the track laid rubber about five or six laps in. I was able to slip by him for second, but the leader had a big lead by that point.”

Lasoski maintained second place for the remainder of the race, which gave the team its third top five in as many races last week.

“I would like to thank everyone who showed up at the various tracks to help us this week,” Burch said. “No matter where we went we had old and new friends there to help us out and I really appreciate it! Sincere thanks goes out to Ryan Hargan, Ken Netsch, Asa South, Jim "Iggy" Farland and Nathan Steinhaus. Also special thanks to Gabby Lusk for the Pork Chops and the JSTS for the hospitality.”

Mark Burch Motorsports will return to competition Aug. 6-8 at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, for the 25th annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals.
