Kent, Davis, McQuary, Romine and Denton Win Thrillers at Creek County.

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (August 15, 2015) – Johnny Kent, Chad Davis, Rob McQuary, Tommy Romine and Daniel Ray Denton each took home victories in their respected divisions at Creek County Speedway on Saturday night, August 15.

After a penalty on feature winner Alex DeCamp following the checkered flag, Johnny Kent was handed down the victory after starting on the outside of the front row at the start of the 20-lap feature event. Brian McClelland moved up to third after starting on the pole. Alex DeCamp who originally captured the victory was penalized to third after a passing on the berm infraction. Brett Wilson crossed in fourth from starting sixth with Jimmy Taylor bringing up the top five.

Chad Davis, Ho Dean and Matt French put on a thriller in the 20-lap Modified feature, but it was Chad Davis taking home the victory from the fifth starting spot. Ho Dean settled for the second spot after starting third. Mike Duvall was third with Johnny DeRamus who charged up to fourth from seventh and pole setter, Matt Frech came home in fifth.

Rob McQuary visited CCS victory lane tonight in the Dwarf Car divison being chased by Tanner Phillips who crossed in second advancing one spot at the conclusion of the 20-lap affair. Paul York advanced one spot to come home in third. Robert Watson was the Dwarf Car hard charger moving up eight spots to cross in fourth with Larry Pense rounding out the top five.

Tommy Romine pulled off another victory in the Factory Stock division holding off, Bobby Wolfe who switched lead changes back and forth with Romine, but on the lap that counted Wolfe chased Romine to the line. James Esmond crossed home in third with Tim Stowe and Jimmy Owen rounding out the top five.

Daniel Ray Denton picked up another victory in the Mini Stock division out dueling Jerad Traster to the line. Wesley Knebel ended up in the third spot with Dee Denton and Chris Miles rounding out the top five.

Then the Fast Five Weekly Series will be back in the spotlight on Saturday night, August 22 as only three points event remain in the chase to the 2015 Fast Five Championship.
