CRSA SPRINT TOUR RETURNS TO PENN CAN FRIDAY, FIVE MILE POINT SATURDAY
Susquehanna, PA…The CRSA Sprint Tour is heading to Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania Friday for another night of sprint car racing. This will be the second appearance at the three eighths mile Penn Can oval in 2015. Saturday will see action shift to the Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, NY. The races will also be part of the E&H Services LLC. Southern Tier Challenge competed at Penn Can, Five Mile Point, and Orange County Fair Speedway.

The last race in May at the Penn Can saw Scott Goodrich take home the win over Dustin Purdy, Josh Pieniazek, Mike Kiser, and Brian Krummel. Teams will be excited about returning to racing as both events last weekend fell victim to rain at Albany Saratoga Speedway and Lebanon Valley Speedway.

The touring sprint car series then travels Saturday to the Five Mile Point Speedway. The last race at the tight quarter mile saw Emily VanInwegen win her first ever CRSA feature. VanInwegen held off challenges from Mike Kiser, Josh Pieniazek, Dalton Herrick, and Scott Goodrich for the hard earned win.

Coming into this two race weekend Pieniazek has a slim point lead in the CRSA point standings. Three other CRSA drivers are within one hundred points of top ten spots. Kyle Smith, Herrick, and Chad Miller are all within striking distance with these important races on the tour schedule. Anything can happen as the series has had eight different feature winners with Scott Goodrich leading the way with five feature wins. Rookie driver, Brian Krummel, is the only other driver with multiple wins. Krummel has two wins on the circuit thus far this season.

When racing returns to Penn Can Speedway on Friday another great field of sprint cars is expected. Heat races and another exciting twenty five lap feature are on the schedule. Gates open at 5:00, Hot Laps at 6:45 pm, racing at 7:30 pm. On Saturday at Five Mile Point there will be a complete program of racing for all weekly divisions with racing set to get underway at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The CRSA Sprint Car Tour is sponsored in part by the following fine sponsors: American Race Tires, Kelly Race Fuels, Schaeffer Oil, Kennedy's Towing, Ingles Performance, Panther Frameworx, Inc, Vertex Magsarus, Kreitz Oval Track Supply, Bob Hilbert Sportswear, E&H Services, Espositos Lawn&Garden, and Snowflake Photography and M&W Aluminum Products.
