UPDATED LOOK: 2016 NOW600 National Micro Series Schedule of Events

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (February 5, 2016) – The 2016 season for the NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass continues to grow as the series will now see 22 nights of action across Oklahoma and North Texas.

Each of these events will be a National Tour point’s event while also counting as points for either the NOW600 Sooner Region or the Inside Line Promotions NOW600 North Texas Region powered by FFE Motorsports depending on which state the National Tour event is being held.

Everyone will receive National points, but drivers wishing to run the full National Tour will not be eligible to earn points for the Sooner or North Texas Region. National Tour drivers will need to inform NOW600 officials prior to the first race.

Kicking off the year will be February 19 and 20 at the Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas as the Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class arms of the National Open Wheel 600 Series make their second ever appearance at the North Texas oval.

The Red River Roundup at the Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas will host event three and four on the 2016 National Micro Schedule on March 4 and 5 featuring the three premier NOW600 classes (Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class) while also showcasing the POWRi West Midget Series and Sprint Series of Oklahoma Winged 305 Sprint Cars.

Following the Red River Roundup, the track that started it all for the National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass the Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. will host a two day event on March 11 and 12 featuring the NOW600 Restricted 'A' Class and Stock Non-Wing classes along with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Sprint Cars.

After beginning the season with three two day events the series will head to Central Texas to the Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas on Friday, April 1 with all three NOW600 sanctioned divisions.

On Saturday, April 2 the NOW600 National Tour will join the Lonestar 600’s at the Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas for the annual Nolan Wren Memorial. This event will NOT be a points race for the NOW600 Series.

Saturday, April 16 the series will make its second trip to the Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas joining the ASCS Red River Region Winged 360 Sprint Cars as all three NOW600 classes will be in action.

RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas will host their first NOW600 National Non-Wing event on Friday, April 29 featuring the POWRi West Midgets and Elite Non-Wing 305 Sprints. RPM will also host the Stock Non-Wing division on Saturday, October 8.

Stephenville, Texas’ 281 Speedway will play host to the NOW600 National Restricted and Stock Non-Wing divisions on Saturday, April 29.

With no action set to take place on the NOW600 National Series schedule in May, the National Touring Micro Sprints will return to action on Friday, June 3 as the Stock Non-Wing class joins the POWRi West and Non-Wing Champ Sprints at the Creek County Speedway.

Taking a cruise down I-44, the Wichita Falls, Texas quarter mile Red River Speedway will play host to another NOW600 National Tour event on Saturday, June 4 with all three NOW600 classes in action along with the POWRi West Midgets.

The Winged A-Class arm of the NOW600 National Tour will be showcased on Thursday, June 16 at the Creek County Speedway during the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour Speedweek stop at CCS.

Saturday, June 25 the Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Okla. will put on their first NOW600 National event during the Summer Open Wheel Smackdown. Classes will be announced soon.

With no events on the schedule for the month of July for the NOW600 National Micro Series, the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas will host the mighty micros on Saturday, August 13 featuring the Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing classes.

A Thursday night affair for the NOW600 National Non-Wing micros will be joined by the USAC Southwest 360cid Non-Wing Sprint Cars and POWRi West Midgets at the Creek County Speedway on Thursday, August 18.

Red River Speedway will host their final single day show for the NOW600 National Micro Series along with the ASCS Red River Region Winged Sprints on Saturday, September 17.

RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas is set to have the Stock Non-Wing arm of the series return on Saturday, October 8.

The NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass will round out the season on October 28 and 29 for the Inaugural Texoma 600 Nationals event for the Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class and will also feature the Sprint Series of Oklahoma Winged 305 Sprints and POWRi West Midgets.

The 2016 season marks the fourth season of competition for the National Open Wheel 600 Series sanctioning micro sprint racing in Oklahoma and North Texas.
