The third race of the 2016 OCRS season took place at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Oklahoma, with 23 cars competing. Michael Bookout started 4th in his heat race and with his 5th place finish in it, started 15th in the "A" Feature. His 12th place finish in the "A" Feature propelled him up one spot in the OCRS season standings to 5th place.
Bookout brought his ASCS sprinter to Outlaw for some testing after the night's races were over and plans to compete in the ASCS Red River Region event at Humboldt, Kansas, next Friday.
